Privacy policy

This policy explains what happens to information when you use StairRunnerLengthCalculator.com. The short version: your stair measurements stay in your browser unless you choose to share them.

Measurements and calculations

The calculator runs entirely in your browser. The measurements, prices and notes you type are not sent to us or stored on a server.

Saved staircases

If you save a staircase, it is stored in your browser's local storage on that device only. Clearing your browser data deletes it. We cannot see or recover it.

Shared links

When you copy a share link, your measurements and options are written into the link itself. Anyone you send it to can see them. Project name, client name and notes are left out of shared links.

Visit statistics

Our hosting provider records basic, aggregated visit statistics, such as pages viewed, the site that referred you, your country and device type. We use these figures only to see which pages are useful. We do not use advertising trackers and we do not sell data.

External links

Links to other websites are governed by those sites' own privacy policies.

Your rights

Because we do not hold your measurements or create accounts, there is normally no personal data about you for us to access, correct or delete. You can clear saved staircases yourself at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page will be updated.
