Count the tread-and-riser pairs the runner will cover. Exclude landings.

Tread depth (in)

Measure the runner path across the flat tread. Fractions like 10 1/2 work.

Riser height (in)

The vertical face between two treads.

Add a nosing / overhang allowance per step

What the printed sheet shows

Project and client name if you entered them, every input measurement, the bare and order lengths in your chosen units, the accessory counts, and the cost lines. Site navigation, buttons and form controls are all removed.

Save as PDF

Choose 'Save as PDF' in your browser's print dialog to keep a copy or email it. There is no separate download to install.

Share instead of print

The share button creates a link carrying your figures, so the person you send it to can change a value and see the effect rather than working from a static sheet.
