There is no app store download here — and there does not need to be. The calculator is a web page that behaves like an app on a phone: large fields, instant recalculation, and a results panel that stays readable one-handed.

You can bookmark the page or add a home-screen shortcut where your browser supports it. Full-screen and offline reopening are not guaranteed.

Designed for on-site use

Fields accept fractions so you can type what the tape says. Nothing is submitted, so there is waiting for a calculation to be sent away. Saved staircases remain available unless the browser’s stored data is cleared.

Why not a native app

Is there a stair runner calculator app to download?: There is no separate app download. Use the website in your phone’s browser. An already loaded page can calculate without a connection, but reopening it offline is not guaranteed.
Do saved staircases sync between devices?: No. They are stored privately in the browser you saved them in. Use the share link to move a calculation to another device.
